Apple holds press event to announce new stuff
This Monday, Apple held a press event at the Steve Jobs theatre where they announced Apple News+, Apple Card, new Apple TV stuff and Apple Arcade.

The BBC remove their podcasts from Google devices
This week the BBC pulled their podcasts from the Google Podcasts service which provides podcasts for Google Assistant and Google Home devices.
The BBC pulled the podcasts as Google won't allow them to direct users to their BBC Sounds app when they want to listen to their podcasts.
The BBC announced this in a press release.
Twitter hoax locks out users
Twitter has had to warn users not to change the birth year set on their account after a series of tweets telling users that they can unlock hidden features if they change their birth year to 2007.
