Spotify purchased Anchor and Gimlet Media - huge players in the podcasting space
This week Spotify announced that they were in the process of purchasing podcasting giants, Anchor and Gimlet Media. This is in a series of moves where the streaming company wants to grow their podcasting functionality to stand out against their competitors.
Daniel Ek, Spotify's CEO says the company hope to be spending $500 million on acquisitions this year.
Raspberry Pi shop opens in Cambridge
On Thursday, the organisation behind the Raspberry Pi mini-computer opened their first shop in Cambridge, the town the device was invented.
The shop is where you can buy Raspberry Pi's and accessories. You can also get hands on with Raspberry Pi kit.
Google introducing Dark Mode to Chrome
Google is currently testing out a new dark mode appearance for Chrome. It's reported that the company is working on introducing the feature in the next few weeks and it will work on both Windows and MacOS.
