Reddit 'quarantine' the Donald Trump subreddit
This week Reddit turned on 'quarentine mode' for the r/The_Donald subreddit.
This means that users who try to access the subreddit will be asked if they want to continue viewing the community. It also means that the subreddit will not display any advertising.
(May or may not be a Boeing plane)
Boeing discovers another safety flaw in Boeing 737 Max
The United States Federal Aviation Administration - the US government body who have been investigating the Boeing 737 Max planes after two crashes caused by malfunctions in Boeing's software - have found another unrelated safety flaw.
Boeing have told Bloomberg that they are working hard to resolve the safety risk. They also say that they are well underway in a complete software redesign for the planes which has been in the works for eight months.
Facebook testing feature which shares your WhatsApp status across Facebook and other apps
WhatsApp is testing the concept that you can set your status in WhatsApp and it would change it on other apps too, like Facebook or Gmail.
The company say they are not doing any account linking stuff, they are just making use of Android sharing APIs, like all other mobile apps.
Although, Facebook is in the process of rebuilding their messaging apps in a way that you can message someone using Facebook Messenger and they would receive the text message in WhatsApp.
