Amazon announces Alexa for Hotels

Today, Amazon announced a new version of their Alexa voice assistant for Hotels. Marriott International will be one of the first to implement the new system.

You'll be able to ask for hotel information, housekeeping and room service. Guests will also be able to use features like the Flash Briefing and TuneIn.

The devices are designed in a way that they can be easilly provisioned by network administrators and they can setup alerts for when they go offline.

In a future update, you will be able to connect your Amazon account in order for a personalised experience.
